We were at Waitrose for three rather chilly hours to promote Sanderstead Residents’ Association. We gained 21 new members and gave out many magazines and membership forms. We used our newly acquired SUMUP machine so that we could take contactless payments which proved to be very successful. It was lovely to meet and talk to so many local people, many of whom were already members. It was interesting to note that the main topic raised was the Barrowsfield decision which has been of such concern to so many.
