16th Purley Scout Group are holding the annual Gruffy Fayre, which has been running for over fifty years, on Saturday 13th June, starting at 12 noon. SRA will be there so please do come and see us on our stall - look out for our sailflag with the new logo.

Sanderstead United Reformed Church are holding a piano concert on Sunday 24th May at 3pm. Ophelia Gordon will play a mixture of classical music and jazz. Admission is £10 on the door , or £5 for under 18s. Followed by tea and cakes.

The historic church of Sanderstead which dates from 1230 is having some open afternoons in May: Sundays 10th, 17th, 24th and 31st from 2pm to 4pm. 19th Purley Scout Group are holding their annual Family Fun Day on Saturday 16th May from 12 noon to 5pm - you can go and join in the fun after doing the Rotary Sponsored Walk in the recreation ground in the morning! (see earlier post)
