If you have not already done so, make your views known about the closure of Purley Oaks and Sanderstead ticket offices.
A member went to travel last Wednesday and unusually the ticket office was not open. They were not able to purchase the ticket they needed from the machine and the employee manning the gates could not help. This is why we need to keep the ticket office open!
Southern Railway’s website says:
‘Consultation extended to Friday 1 September 2023. We know some customers have asked for more time to understand information and make any submission to Transport Focus or London TravelWatch that they may wish to make.
Feedback is important to us, and so for anyone that needs additional time to respond,the local public consultation has now been extended until Friday 1 September 2023. Customers who have already responded do not need to do so again.’
