The Friends of Sanderstead Library have set a date for the next tidy up of the library garden.

There is debris to be picked up from under the beech tree and weeding of the pathways but our main task is to clear the large bed under the retaining wall and plant some drought resistant shrubs and bulbs. Many hands make light work so if you are free please come along and help. You are covered by our insurance if you are a member of SRA. It would be helpful to know how many to expect so if you can come please let Richard know on tfosl@sanderstead-residents.co.uk

This coming Friday, 1st September, the library will be visited by the company doing the publicity for the Share the Love campaign by Green Thumb. Photo’s will be taken to include in their publicity. The grass already looks much healthier thanks to the Green Thumb treatments.
