The Friends of Sanderstead Green Spaces held a raffle at the Sanderstead Community Day in 2024 and raised enough money to buy another bench for the use of residents. This has now been installed near the children’s cycling track. It is currently beside the bench previously purchased by the Friends, but will be moved to the other side of the planters soon.
The friends have also recently planted snowdrops around the trees by the cricket hut and the new trees near the main road.
They continue to meet on the second Saturday of the month to litter pick and keep the recreation looking nice for users. Please consider helping. They meet by The Hive at 10am.
