Apologies for those residents who came to see the Sanderstead Christmas Lights switch on tonight. There was a technical hitch and despite telephoning the operators it could not be resolved. Santa did a splendid job talking to the children and Paul Meakin provided plenty of mulled wine and mince pies. Hopefully the lights should be on at 3pm tomorrow.
