All start at 10am from where Orchard Road, Sanderstead enters the woodland returning around 12pm. Children are welcome but regret no dogs.
Harvest in the Wood – Sunday 24th September – Fruitfulness, fungi and firewood. How the woodland was managed in the past to provide the needs of the parish.

Hi Lea, SRA hope you enjoy the guided walk and maybe join the Friends Group. The Friends of King’s Wood is not run by SRA but by a group of residents nearby who have a keen interest in the woods and their maintenance. This applies to other Friends’ groups in Sanderstead, ie Wettern Tree Garden, Purley Beeches, Sanderstead Plantation Partners, Friends of Green Spaces Sanderstead, the only Friends group run by SRA is the Friends of Sanderstead Library. SRA do however support these various groups with donations.
