Today I went to The Story Sanctuary to sample their summer holiday cafe which is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10am to 12.30am and 1pm to 3.30pm. An excellent range of drinks and the most delicious cakes by Brownsuga Cakes. The cafe is also open on Saturdays 10am to 1pm.
What a pleasure to sit outside and chat to local residents.
This is great community venture but it needs the community’s support to succeed. So please do come and visit, look at all the activities that are on offer (see our earlier posts for summer holiday events). The children today made some amazing artwork.
There has been a wonderful community spirit coming together to support Jill in this venture and illustrates what lovely people live in Sanderstead.
