The Prime Minister has asked Baroness Casey of Blackstock to chair an Independent Commission on Adult Social Care, which will recommend how to reform the adult social care system.
As part of this ‘The Big Conversation on Care’ launched on July 29 2026. The aim is to encourage people to share their views on adult social care to help shape its future.
We are asking if you can please share this information with our residents and people you are connected with, so as many people as possible get a chance to have their say.
Please note this is a government-led national consultation through the Independent Commission on Adult Social Care, not a Croydon Council consultation. Croydon Council are supporting awareness of the consultation to help ensure Croydon’s residents, carers, providers and communities have the opportunity to contribute and that Croydon’s voice is heard as part of the national conversation
