We have seen the following notice by Riddlesdown Residents Association about the horse field in Mitchley Hill by the White Path which we thought was of interest to Sanderstead Residents.
Former Horse Grazing Field in Mitchley Hill
The RRA have been in contact with the Planning Enforcement team, for the last 6 years, and latterly with Councillors, about the old and abandoned caravan and metal baths to this site, next to Dunmail Drive (the White Path). We are pleased to advise that Cllr Alasdair Stewart has advised us that the new owner has applied to the Council’s Planning Dept to erect new stables on the land and bring the land back into use for horse grazing. This includes removing the old caravan. Unfortunately there is a problem with the application the Planning Agent has submitted and the application is not yet on the planning register. Hopefully this can be sorted out soon and this eyesore removed as soon as possible.
