The historic church of Sanderstead which dates from 1230 is having some open afternoons in May: Sundays 10th, 17th, 24th and 31st from 2pm to 4pm. Come and see this historic building which will celebrate 800 years in 2030. 19th Purley Scout Group are holding their annual Family Fun Day on Saturday 16th May from 12 noon to 5pm - you can go and join in the fun after doing the Rotary Sponsored Walk in the recreation ground in the morning! (see earlier post)
