There’s lot going on at The Story Sanctuary on Sanderstead Hill (the old library building) this summer.
It has been wonderful to see the community spirit that has come together to help Jill with this venture – helpers in all sorts of areas including the garden. Have you seen the sunflowers along the border?
There is a special garden planning and dreaming day on Saturday 8th August which will be pet friendly (pet portraits available), paint a stone, etc.
See the images below to see the events which cater for all age groups making this a truly community venue for Sanderstead.

Dear Heather, I have a huge apology to make to you and all those involved in the Story Sanctuary celebration last Friday, which I had accepted your kind invitation. Sadly I missed, and failed to send my apology. I had a particul;arly busy week and other key Sanderstead WI members who are community minded and are involved in looking after the Rose Beds, were unavailable. I was looking forward to attending on our WI behalf, but some unexpected health issues with one of the Ukrainians that I sponsor, copped up, and that meant I had to put the patient before my needs. I hope it was a happy time, and well done again for all the Team do.
Best wishes
Margaret

Dear Margaret
It’s Jill you need to apologise to as she organised the event. SRA supports The Story Sanctuary but does not get involved with the day to day activities. I couldn’t make it either last Friday! Heather
