You no doubt will have noticed the poppies that SRA have put up by the shops in Cranleigh Parade, Limpsfield Road, Hamsey Green, Elmfield Way and Station Parade.
Today at the Remembrance Sunday service at All Saints’ Church, our secretary, Mike Leach, laid a wreath at the War Memorial to remember all those residents of Sanderstead who have made the ultimate sacrifice for their country.
Our local Safer Neighbourhood Team also laid a wreath as did Sanderstead and Selsdon Rotary, Councillor Yvette Hopley on behalf of our Sanderstead Councillors and the Royal British Legion.
